Limoux in the Razès, located at 25kms from Carcassonne, is a small town cut in half by the river Aude. The Grande Ville is linked to the Petite by the Pont Neuf (new bridge) which is over four centuries old!The old quarter is a veritable maze of narrow streets, bordered by arcades known as couverts. Limoux has a very lively Friday market which takes over the entire centre of the town. |
