Le Cantou - Accommodation |
Le Cantou is set in 3/4 of an acre on the edge of the hilltop village of Villasavary, in Cathar Country. Built in 1994 on the site of an old vineyard, the Villa has beautiful views over the rolling hillsides of the Lauragais valley. There is ample parking in the private driveway. The bar/restaurant, butcher, baker, village shop, pharmacy, hairdresser and post office are all within 5 minutes walk.Gas and electricity are included. All linen and towels are provided. |

The Living AreaThe single-storey villa is quiet and virtually secluded. It has a large bright open kitchen/dining/living area. There is a splendid feature fireplace incorporating a free-standing wood burning stove. The living area has satellite TV, video, DVD and CD players. |

The KitchenA modern fully fitted kitchen with lots of cupboards and counter space. Equipment includes a 5 burner gas hob, electric fan oven, microwave, dishwasher, king size refrigerator with freezer and just about everything you need for preparing anything from snacks to gourmet meals. |
The Bedrooms and BathroomsThere are five bedrooms. The master bedroom, with king sized bed and pine wardrobe, has an en-suite with very large walk-in shower, a hand-basin, wc and the washing machine.There is a second double bedroom with built-in wardrobe, one twin-bedded room with a built-in wardrobe and two single bedrooms, each with a large chest of drawers.The main bathroom has a full-sized bath, a hand basin and a walk-in shower.There is a separate wc. |

The Barbeque TerraceThe hall leads out onto a secluded south-facing terrace with shaded seating and a barbeque. The panoramic view from this terrace extends over the pool area to the valley and hills beyond. |
The Pool AreaSteps lead down from the barbeque terrace to the 11m x 4.1m secure pool and its large paved sunbathing area. Here you will find ample sunloungers and seating to enable you to soak up the sun and enjoy an evening drink watching the spectacular sunsets |
